Names of three female lion cubs at Taronga Western Plains Zoo have been announced following a public selection process.
Amali, Mara and Imani have made themselves comfortable in Dubbo playing confidently in front of a steady stream of visitors to their enclosure.
Names were put in a public competition with a clear preference in votes of Amali, meaning “hope”.
