As part of Anti-Poverty Week, The Salvation Army’s Moneycare service is hosting a free information day titled “Break the Scarcity Trap with Awesome Savings Strategies” on Monday, October 17, at Delroy Park Shopping Centre from 9am to 3pm. Deputy Premier and Member for Dubbo, Tony Grant, will be attending from 1.30pm to 2pm.
A Moneycare Information Day will also be held on Wednesday, October 19, from 9am to 1pm at The Salvation Army, 110 Gipps Street, Dubbo to help anyone requiring financial assistance or advice.
The Salvation Army, through its Moneycare program, is one of the largest providers of financial counselling and related services in Australia. Moneycare is a free and confidential service where staff can help with a range of issues including what to do if you are being harassed for repayment of a bill, being threatened eviction or your car is at risk of being repossessed.
