Eight artists from Dubbo, Mudgee, and Natimuk in Victoria are putting their latest artworks into public spaces on the October long weekend, September 30 to October 2, as part of the third annual Bring to Light Projects (BTLP) event, #bringtoglightproject17.
The event is aimed at providing the public an opportunity to see temporary, contemporary artworks outside usual gallery spaces. The event took a break in 2016 due to Dubbo hosting the national regional arts conference and festival that many BTLP artists were involved in.
The public are encouraged to engage or interact with the works, sharing photos of the art on social media using the hashtag #BTLP17.
Many of the artworks will be found around Dubbo. All the works are plotted on a Google Map on the website with details of the works at www.bringtolightprojects.com.
