Change to fuel rules at Burrendong

Guests travelling to Lake Burrendong and Mookerawa Waters will be unable to carry fuel into the parks as of this week, as the park operator begins a series of infrastructure upgrades.

Reflections Holiday Parks CEO, Steve Edmonds, said on Tuesday that as part of a proactive program of infrastructure upgrades and safety improvements across the group’s inland holiday parks, fuel facilities for guests will also not be available at any of the following park locations: Lake Keepit, Cudgegong River (Yarrabin), Grabine Lakeside (Bigga), Burrinjuck Waters, and Wyangala Waters.

“To ensure visitor safety, it is not permitted to carry fuel into the parks for vehicles and/or boats which needs to be decanted. Guests are asked to fill their vehicles and boats at the nearest service stations,” Mr Edmonds said.
