A sea of rugby fans, young and old, greeted the men in green and gold when the nation’s top rugby union team, the Wallabies, bounced into town this week.

The Wallabies, under the watchful eye of coach Ewen McKenzie, went through their paces at an open training run at Dubbo’s Apex Caltex Park, and then settled in for a “signing” session that allowed enthusiastic supporters to get up close and personal with their sporting heroes.

The visit was part of the Wallabies’ Bush2Bledisloe tour, during which the team toured regional centres in the lead up to their clash next weekend in Sydney with traditional rugby rivals from across the ditch, the New Zealand All Blacks.
