Physical culture (‘Physie’) is a sport that fuses dance styles such as jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, aerobics, and even pilates and yoga. Fun, upbeat, pop music is the soundtrack to the choreography that is age specific and designed for maximum variety and fun. Physie is an individual and a team-based sport that is social and fun, and an excellent low impact dance and aerobic activity. It is the perfect combination of movements designed to increase strength, fitness and flexibility.
There is a focus on developing the self-esteem and confidence of the students to help improve co-ordination, brain development and musicality. Every member is supported and motivated to be the best they can be. Dubbo City Physie is run by trained and dedicated teachers who provide classes for all ages and abilities; from 4 years to ladies.
Classes begin on Monday, February 8 Dubbo South Campus Hall, Fitzroy Street. For further information, contact Liz 0401 165 874 or 6882 1673 or Helen 0438 582 015.It is an affordable way to learn to dance and keep fit.
