Former Mendooran Rugby league Football Club conducted a 40-year reunion last weekend to celebrate the success of the club during the 1980s.
The club was born from the initiative of locals under the presidency of John Hunter.
In 1982, the club was accepted into the Group 14 competition, and success came soon after with Premierships in 1983, 1984, and 1985.
