Dubbo Regional Council waste facilities, including the Whylandra and Wellington garbage tips, will no longer accept cash from July 1.

Dubbo Regional Council’s (DRC) waste facilities and transfer stations will go cashless from July 1.

Council said the move aims to reduce property damage and increase staff efficiency.

All DRC waste facilities, including Whylandra Waste and Recycling Facility and Wellington Waste Transfer Station, will accept all cards without additional merchant charges.
