These kangaroos had the right idea on a recent chilly Friday morning when they closed in on a pile of wood being burnt off at Dubbo Golf Course, with the smoke cloud spreading over much of West Dubbo.

These chilled-out local marsupials thought they’d catch a bit of a free warm-up session while the blaze was in progress, basking in the soft early sunlight while catching the radiant heat at ground level.
