The beauty of art is that when you get a collection of it together, it can turn any space into an art gallery. Local artisans Fresh Arts Inc have already proven this, holding past exhibitions of members' work in different spaces including Ramiens Timber and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Visitor Experience.
Next week it's the Colour Copy Shop's turn to host the latest Fresh Arts' exhibition titled "Small Works and Miniatures".
For three days only next week, the exhibition will add a whole new meaning to the term "colour" at the Colour Copy Shop, turning the Macquarie Street store into a vibrant artistic space.
Over 70 small and miniature artworks will be on display from the talents of 22 Fresh Arts artists, and will also be available for sale. These will include acrylics, watercolours, drawing and ink works, digital art, sculptures and ceramics.
The exhibition is free to view and will be available to the public on Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6 from 9am to 4.30pm, wrapping up on Saturday 7 March with viewing hours from 9am to 3pm.
The community is welcome to attend the official launch of the exhibition on Thursday, March 5 at 10am and enjoy morning tea. Twenty per cent of funds raised from the sale of works during the exhibition will support the Dubbo Melanoma March which will take place on Saturday, March 14.
"We cannot thank our good friends Toni and Aaron McMillan enough for partnering with us to hold this exhibition at their shop," Fresh Arts' publicity officer Annette Ferguson said.
