Skillset Senior College held an Open Day at its Dubbo campus on Wednesday, July 29, providing a unique insight into its alternative pathways for young people who have faced barriers to complete mainstream schooling to complete their secondary education.

The college offers a flexible, relational, and trauma-informed approach to senior education, guided by their values of “kindness, courage, and consideration.”

“Our goal is for every young person to leave Skillset Senior College with a clear pathway that reflects their aspirations," a spokesperson said.

“Ultimately, we're here to help young people develop the skills, resilience and confidence to take their next step, whatever that looks like for them,” they concluded.
