Dubbo Ladies’ Probus Club celebrated their 40th anniversary last week with a special luncheon at the Royal Freemasons Benevolent Institution retirement village in Darby Close.

Tuesday, August 11, was a special day for the club’s committee and 22 members, reminiscing and celebrating 40 wonderful years of camaraderie and support. This year, the wider Probus movement celebrates its 50th anniversary, so our local group has been around for almost – but not quite – as long.

Dubbo Photo News journalist Lana Eather stopped by and snapped some of the photos of the Probus celebrations.

Dubbo Ladies’ Probus Club meets at the retirement village on the second Tuesday of each month and new members are welcome. Full details can be found under TUESDAY in the Dubbo Photo News Community Diary.

Congratulations on your special anniversary, Dubbo Ladies’ Probus Club!
