The extended family of the late Nellie and James Ross Woodham gathered for a reunion in Dubbo last month.

The reunion took place 119 years after Nellie and James married in 1907. The couple welcomed 14 children in 21 years, and lived in Lightning Ridge and Walgett.

Their descendants gathered at the Westside Hotel in Dubbo on Saturday, July 11, for the reunion. Family travelled from Walgett, Gulargambone, Tamworth, Gunnedah, Curlewis, Maitland, Mudgee, Wollongong, Brisbane, Central Coast, Narrabri and Canberra for the occasion.

In 2028, the Woodham Family will celebrate 50 years since their first reunion.
