Following the recent tragic death of a Council employee, Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre (DRTCC) has been forced to extend the closure of the theatre and convention centre to at least until Sunday, July 20. The Box Office for the Theatre, however, will reopen on Monday, July 14, from 10am to 2pm.
A Council statement said ticket-holders who had booked shows at the DRTCC have been notified via SMS and email, and the community will be updated with further details of a re-opening in the future.
The DRTCC was closed following a fatal workplace incident involving the Council employee on Wednesday, July 2.
The DRTCC is operated by Dubbo Regional Council.
