What started as a small idea in Michelle Bain’s backyard shed has grown into a small business that the Dubbo resident is incredibly passionate about.

“I have always loved finding amazing bargains and turning everyday items into something special,” Michelle told Dubbo Photo News.

“I love the thrill of the hunt – finding beautiful products at great prices – then bringing them together with a touch of magic, including fairy lights and thoughtful presentation, to create hampers that feel unique and memorable,” she added.

Michelle held a stall on the deck at the Macquarie Club last weekend, keen to introduce her business to the wider community.

“After living in Dubbo for over 20 years, many people know me from places like the Macquarie Club, Coles and Bunnings. I’ve always been the person with the big smile, high energy and a passion for life. 'Enlightened Hampers By MK' is a reflection of that – bringing joy, kindness and a little bit of sparkle to people’s lives,” she explained.

“Every hamper is created with love and care, whether it’s a pamper hamper, baby hamper, gift for a loved one, or something special just ‘because’,” Michelle added.

Like many small business owners, Michelle aims to harness her passion creating special things and grow her business accordingly.

“My dream is to grow Enlightened Hampers from a little business in my shed into something that brings happiness to many more people,” she said.
