Those magnificent men and women in their flying machines definitely went uppity-up-up during Ausfly 2022 at Narromine Airport, this past weekend.

Dubbo Photo News staffer Yvette took her family to see Saturday afternoon's air display programme which included an aerobatic display by the classic P-51 Mustang WWII warbird.

She took this amazing photograph of the P51 sitting silently on the ground, while high in the background clouds flies the Red Bull air race defending world champion, Matt Hall and Matt Hall Racing operations manager Emma McDonald, who is also set to compete in the world series.

Matt and Emma gave an inspiring presentation to Dubbo high schoolers who attended a Young Aviators on the Friday.
