Narromine Shire councillors held a Meet and Greet with residents and local business owners on Wednesday, November 19, at the United Services Memorial Club (USMC).

The after-hours community catch up was an informal occasion for people to meet with councillors one on one, get to know them personally, discuss local matters and gain insight into their roles within the shire.

Narromine Shire Mayor Cr Ewen Jones said the informal session was a great way for the community to connect with the council. Similar sessions were held at Tomingley on October 18 and at Trangie on September 20.

Narromine businesswoman Felicity Haylock attended the event to ensure local elected representatives knew about the existence of her business, The Creative Collab, a co-working and workshop space in the town's central business district.

"It's important that they know I'm here and what I do," she told Dubbo Photo News.
