A low emissions livestock demonstration field day is a calendar highlight at Trangie Agricultural Research Station during March.
The practical, hands-on field day showcases how technology is transforming livestock operations, including how virtual fencing and livestock collars are changing how landholders manage their operations.
Planned guest speakers at the free event organised by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) On-farm Carbon Advice Project include Farms of the Future agtech specialist Tyson Peterswald and Gallagher's Mark Dempsey, who will talk about virtual fencing.
Contact the Trangie Agricultural Research Station for more information on events they host, or contact the DPIRD.
