The team at the Narromine USMC will make a very special donation to children’s medical garment charity Supertee, which will bring a smile to the faces of many sick kids in the region.

Launched in 2018, Supertee delivers specially made, easily removable superhero hospital gowns to hospitals across the country to help make hospital stays a little less frightening for children. The organisation has six unique contemporary designs available, all made with high-quality cotton.

The generous Narromine USMC donation, made possible through the annual club grants scheme, will directly benefit children from the wider region convalescing in Dubbo.

“Our donation will enable [Supertee] to donate 192 gowns to the children’s ward of Dubbo Base Hospital,” the club announced recently on social media.

The club has also put a call out to the community for volunteers who might be available bright and early on Wednesday, August 26, to help pack the ready-made gowns.

“We will be meeting at the club to get this organised. Any member who would like to be involved we will gladly welcome, and we will even provide morning tea!”

Anyone wishing to volunteer to help put the packs together can contact the Narromine USMC on 6889 4288 and ask to speak to the admin team.

“We look forward to your support,” the club concluded.
