Road users travelling on the Mitchell Highway near Trangie should prepare for minor delays from Monday, May 12, due to scheduled maintenance work.
Transport for NSW announced crews will undertake minor patching repairs about 4.4 kilometres west of the intersection with Swift Lane. Work will be carried out daily from 7am to 5pm, between Monday, May 12, and Wednesday, May 14, weather permitting.
Drivers can expect single lane closures managed by portable traffic lights, with a reduced speed limit of 40km/h enforced during work hours. Outside these hours, normal speed limits will apply.
Transport for NSW advises motorists to plan ahead, observe traffic signs and signals, and allow an additional five minutes for travel through the affected area.
