Dubbo Photo News photographer Ken Smith has been checking out the progress on the Dubbo Workplace Hub development and is pleased to report "the windows are in place!"

Renascent Australia is redeveloping two existing government-owned buildings at 142 Brisbane Street and 37-39 Carrington Avenue, Dubbo, as part of a new multi-million-dollar regional workplace hub.

"Upgrades at the Carrington Avenue building will include a new internal fit-out for the current building and the construction of a three-storey extension at the rear of the property to create additional office space for workers," Property and Development NSW stated on its website.

"The existing building and new extension will be wrapped in a new façade and will connect to the hub’s Brisbane Street building via landscaping featuring a yarning circle and a pedestrian walkway."

Intended as a whole-of-government regional hub consolidating existing government offices in Dubbo, the project is expected to be completed by the end of the year and will join existing hubs in Orange, Newcastle and Coffs Harbour.
