Jock the Kelpie, like most dogs, loves trees.
To celebrate Tree Day on August 26 – and the naming of the iconic River Red Gum as Australia’s favourite tree – Jock took his human Diane O’Brien for a wander along Dubbo’s Macquarie/Wambuul River to check out some of the local specimens.
After a brief swim, Jock parked himself near a River Red Gum and had a quiet camp.
