Bluey, Spider-man 2, and COD - EB Games, has fun for everyone

One of the best-selling computer games for Christmas at EB Games/ZiNG Dubbo is about a curious little pup with a heart-of-gold.
The surprise hit Australian kids’ television animation series, Bluey, has recently been developed into a tots computer game, and it’s selling like hot cakes, Store Manager, Melissa Sinclair, revealed.
“Bluey has been one of our most highly-anticipated recent games, it was only released last week” she enthused.
“It’s just been walking off the shelves, we’re almost all sold-out,” she added.
Other big movers for late 2023 include Spiderman II and something very much at the other end of the gaming spectrum, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, with Melissa a keen gamer herself.
“We’re definitely well within the hundreds of games in stock, if it’s out there, chances are we have it, or can get it,” she said.
“I am currently playing PC and PlayStation 5, the new Baldur’s Gate 3 and Mortal Kombat 1”
She said that the store, which is located at Shop T028 in the Orana Mall, had also been fielding plenty of inquiries about retro computer games that have made a comeback in recent times.
“A lot of the older games that people played as a child, are now making a comeback, people are rediscovering their enjoyment of them.
“These include the Mario games, Super Mario, Mario PG, and Nintendo, a lot of these have just been re-released,” she added.
With gaming now reportedly more popular than sports watching for many Australians, Melissa adds that you don’t need to be an enthusiast to get involved.
“Not at all, if you’ve never played, just drop in, we’re happy to help people find a game they enjoy for any level they are at.
“We’ve got so many games for kids from four to five, to adults, for people aged up to 99, there’s something that can interest anyone,” she concluded.
