“News” was both good and bad from the much-anticipated Stuart Town time capsule opening recently!
First the bad news: as some had suspected — and despite the best efforts of the unknown depositors of 1973 — water had leaked into the sealed tank over the intervening 50 years.
Good news: little damage had been done to much of the personal family letters and newspapers that the capsule...
