Dubbo is set for an exciting health upgrade as principle physiotherapist, Poonam ‘Pia’ Hingorani, brings her internationally acclaimed physiotherapy services to her newly opened clinic, Infinity Physiotherapy Services, located at 6/77 Myall Street in Dubbo where she celebrated the Grand Opening Ceremony on the 8th of March 2024.
To commemorate the opening of her physiotherapy clinic, Pia has chosen to donate the generous sum of $2001 to Little Wings Organisation, who fly rural children to bigger cities for urgent medical care. She is supporting this cause because the organisation is dear to her heart having known 2 families with children that lost little ones to illnesses that potentially may have been treated if this service had been available to them.
Pia says that “These were lives that could have contributed to the betterment of this world to make it a better place. A child’s body is very delicate and requires utmost attention to even the smallest of infections, it’s so crucial for children to get the urgent medical attention they require and Little Wings is doing such an incredible job with that.”
Tegan Ferguson representing Little Wings was on hand to receive the wonderful donation and Dubbo Mayor Mathew Dickerson, was also in attendance.
From a young age Pia has always cared deeply for the health and well-being of those around her which led her to become a physiotherapist. She eschews those values in her commitment to community health and she continually strives to deliver top-tier physiotherapy care to every one of her clients. Her newly established state-of-the-art clinic reflects her vision, offering exceptional service in a welcoming environment, as reflected by her positive client reviews.
Originally from India, Pia arrived in Australia in 2015 to complete her Masters degree at the University of Queensland after having worked as an accredited physiotherapist in Singapore. For over a decade, Pia honed exceptional client service skills at one of South East Asia’s elite private hospitals, garnering awards “for outstanding service” and working with a star-studded client list.
While completing her specialist degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, at the University of Queensland, she also worked at a private clinic in Broken Hill before settling in Dubbo, where she is now happy to call home.
With over 20 years experience, Pia has a vast wealth of expertise, including complex pain management and rehabilitation. One unique asset in Pia’s skill-set includes vertigo management of which she is one of a handful in the country who possess this unique capability and thus far, she has had a 100 percent success rate with healing vertigo in her clients.
