Dubbo Kart Club driver Jedd Wrigley was crowned Overall Junior Champion at the Maxxis Australasian Gold Cup event held at Lincoln Park Speedway on the weekend.

11-year-old Jedd follows in the pedals of his older brother Luke and dad Bert Wrigley who have held the coveted Cup aloft, and this young bloke shows promise of more titles to come.

Drivers travelled from all over NSW to compete, relishing the opportunity to get together and race freely after the difficulties of the past few Covid fuelled years.

Other Dubbo drivers to fare well were Reuben Ross who finished fourth in the Senior Performance Light and Michael Cross who came third in the 4SS Senior Medium.
