The Dubbo community was rocked two weeks ago when third-generation barber and former Australian kayaking representative Ty Hawkins died after a stroke.
Ty was much loved for his work behind the scenes with the Rugby Junior Cricket Club and SASS soccer, and of course for his feats on the water in a kayak during his school years and late teens.
