‘They’re tough’: flood victims seek answers at inquest

When a wall of water tore through the NSW village of Eugowra, houses were swept down the street, locals survived by clinging to trees and hundreds had to be rescued.

The flash flood killed 60-year-old Diane Smith and 85-year-old Ljubisa "Les" Vugec when it struck the town in central western NSW on the morning of November 14, 2022.
