5/6C has had an incredible start to the year, filled with exciting learning opportunities!

Our technological journey has also kicked off with two engaging excursions focused on technology. In Week 4, we welcomed the Technology for Learning (T4L) team into our classroom. We are thrilled to be borrowing robotics kits from the Department of Education for Term 1, and our students received expert instruction on how to use this new technology.

Additionally, we are fortunate to collaborate with the education centre at Taronga Zoo to help develop a new Minecraft game. During Week 5, 5/6C hosted the zoo's education officer to assist in planning and designing the new multiplayer version of Eco-Detectives. We look forward to continuing this partnership throughout 2025 and are eager to test the new Minecraft game once it launches!

Our learning experiences have been further enhanced by the addition of brand-new, modern furniture that supports our flexible learning space. The comfortable seating allows students to choose how and where they work, promoting empowerment and autonomy in their learning.

We are excited for what’s to come and proud of all the progress we’ve made together in 5/6C!
