Ladies’ play for Tuesday morning, November 18, witnessed a total of 18 competitors lining up for a great morning of bowling involving two triples games and one pairs match-up.

In the pairs game, Gai Teale and Ruby Stockings defeated Christine Castlehouse and Gaye Cottee.

In other results, Helen Doran, Sharon Johnston, and Lourace Lawson defeated Mary Perry, Nan Hazelton, and Annette McMillan, while Helen Emblem and Karen Greenhalgh defeated Colleen Ryan and Judy Tighe. Best of the resters went to Gai Teale, while the lucky draws were won by Karen Greenhalgh and Sue O'dea.

For Wednesday morning Men’s Social Bowls on November 19, a total of 30 players lined up over five triples games with a sunny day with a light breeze a welcome change from the very windy weather we have had.

For results, in first place came Richard Clarke, Leo Balstad, and Peter Sinclair, who defeated Ken Whitiker, Robert Pfeiffer, and Dennis Jasprizza.

In second place were Peter Collins, Paul Goodstat, and Doug Back who defeated Jack Russell, Bryan O'Sullivan, and Todd O'dea.

Roger Sherwin, Frank Armstrong, and Greg Hough then defeated Terry Duncan, Eric Satchell, and Brian Coffey, while Dennis Crimmins, Paul Wooldridge, and Allan Davies defeated Allan Parker, Ernie Tink and Doug Aldis.

Dick Whitford, Ross Pharo, and Mike Twohill then defeated Ron Anderson, Dave McGrath, and Ian Hobson.

There were three resters for the day; Dick Whitford, Ross Pharo, and Dennis Crimmins, while the closest game went to Dick Whitford, Ross Pharo, and Mike Twohill.

The Jackpot was not won.

For the Thursday night Walkom Bros event on November 20, Gai Cottee and Ian Hobson defeated Beryl Hobson and Adam Jermyn, while Dennis Crimmins and Anthony Coe defeated Dick Whitford and Brett Miller, and Nathan Goodo and Colin Cottee defeated Sue Armstrong and Robbie Cook.

In the other match, Chris Strojny, Neil Hayburn, and Mike Twohill defeated Christine Castlehouse, Frank Armstrong, and Doug Back.
