You are never too old to learn more than you already know and to become able to do more than you already can, a quote from Professor Isaac Asimov who is considered one of the most prolific writers of all time. The quote is fitting when we speak of the University of the Third Age (U3A).

Dubbo’s U3A is kicking off the year with their annual open day and enrolments. Enrolments will be held on Monday, January 30, from 9.30am to 2pm with the annual general meeting to follow afterwards.

U3A offers a unique experience for retired or semi-retired people in their 'third age'. On offer are a kaleidoscope of educational opportunities from current affairs, art history, print making, music, Tai Chi and sustainable gardening to name a few, it’s your choice.

The open day and enrolments will be held at the building next door to Western Plains Cultural Centre in Wingewarra Street. For more information on the 2023 courses available through U3A, email adm.u3adubbo@gmail.com or visit their website at https://dubbo.u3anet.org.au/  Photo: Dubbo Photo News
