Warren swimmer Bianca Fuller has continued her climb up the rankings after an amazingly successful National All Schools Swimming Championships Carnival.

The young superfish, who travelled to Dubbo to train for her formative years, is now based at Kinross Wolaroi College in Orange where she continues to set records and improve her skills – still under the watchful eye of local mentor Dennis Valentine who keeps tabs through her new coaches.

Bianca grabbed three gold medals (100m butterfly, 50 ‘fly and the NSW team’s medley relay), two silver medals (200 breaststroke and 200 Individual Medley) and one bronze (100 breast).

These are quite remarkable results for someone still in the early stages of her career.

Another local, Brody Steele from Dubbo City Swimtech claimed the bronze in 14 boys 200m backstroke. This was a sensational effort as, by his own admission, Brody had stunned himself when he won a State spot at the NSW meet.

Sophie McAneney made the final of 13/14 100 breast, finishing a creditable ninth, while St Mary’s Primary Year Six athlete Abbie Mesner is competing in the Nationals’ Primary All Schools this week.
